Sheila Knaggs was born in Liverpool, England, and spent her childhood years growing up on the Isle of Man, an idyllic little island in the middle of the Irish Sea. For the past thirty years, Sheila has been lucky to call the beautiful Mornington Peninsula home. She has four grown children and two gorgeous grandchildren. Sheila’s bestselling debut picture book, Fairy Beach, published with Affirm Press in 2024, was shortlisted in the 2025 ABIAs. Her newest picture books, Campfire Kisses and Fairy Forest, were both released this year and there are more lovely books on the way.
