Sharing stories, knowledge and culture is one of my main motivations to write. Being able to talk directly to my local community, both through my books and events such as Western Port Writes, strengthens our bonds as neighbours. The local community is so incredibly supportive, and I will always celebrate events and moments that bring us together. I’m honoured and thrilled to be part of the inaugural Western Port Writes festival.
