
Else Fitzgerald is a writer currently based in Sydney. Her writing has appeared in various publications including Australian Book Review, Meanjin, The Guardian, The Suburban Review, And Award Winning Australian Writing. Her collection of short speculative fiction Everything Feels Like the End of the World, which explores landscapes, language and technology and the ways they may shift and alter in a radically changing world, was published by Allen and Unwin in 2022.
Reading and storytelling gives us a window to explore the world through words, and local stories reflect our communities and our landscapes. Living in Somers had such a huge influence on my writing, and I can’t wait for this festival that will bring a celebration of writing and reading to the Western Port community.
