We’re inviting you to write a Letter to Western Port.

One of our signature Festival Events is the Friday Night Community Storytime.
It’s your chance to take the stage to tell your Western Port story.

You might be one of the lucky storytellers to read your letter out loud to a wildly appreciative audience of Western Port locals.

Your letter

Tell us your story in letter form. It can be prose or poetry (a sonnet if you like!) It can be funny or moving. It can be recent or historic. It can be a memory or a love letter. It can be a tall tale or true – let’s face it, we won’t know!

It can be about anything you like – keep it clean – we’re a PG audience!

But here’s the thing: your letter needs to be inspired by Western Port, set in Western Port or have a link to Western Port. Your link. Why does this part of the world form part of your story?

Make us laugh. Make us cry. Make us think. Make us feel.

Start writing. Bring back the letter – your letter!
